Struggling With Social Media? Kati Noakes Is Back for Another Practical COCO Workshop

We’re delighted to welcome Kati Noakes back to COCO Women Founders this October for another practical Social Media Workshop.

Make Social Media Work Harder

Posting on social media shouldn’t feel like another full-time job.

But for many business owners, it can.

What should I post? How often should I post? Which platform should I concentrate on? Why isn’t anyone engaging? Do I really need to make another Reel?!

If that sounds familiar, you’re definitely not alone.

Kati’s last COCO social media workshop in April was a sell-out, so we’re bringing her back this October to help more women in business get clearer, more confident and – importantly – more purposeful about their social media.

Both COCO members and visitors are welcome to attend.

This isn’t about posting more for the sake of it.

It’s about making social media work harder for your business.

Less Posting for the Sake of It. More Purpose.

One of the biggest traps business owners fall into with social media is believing that simply being active is enough.

Post three times a week. Make more Reels. Jump on the latest trend. Be on Instagram. Be on LinkedIn. Try TikTok…

Before long, you’re spending hours creating content without really knowing what you’re trying to achieve.

Sound familiar?

Your social media needs a purpose.

Are you trying to increase awareness? Demonstrate your expertise? Build trust? Drive people to your website? Start conversations? Generate enquiries?

When you know what you’re trying to achieve, deciding what to post and where to focus becomes much easier.

Start With Who You’re Talking To

This has been a big theme across COCO this September too.

Before deciding what content to create, you need to understand who you’re creating it for.

Your ideal customer should influence everything from the platforms you use to the subjects you talk about and the tone of your content.

Think about the person you most want to reach.

What are they struggling with?

What questions are they asking?

What would stop them scrolling?

What might make them save a post, visit your website or send you a message?

When you stop trying to create content for everyone, it’s much easier to create content that resonates with the people who actually matter to your business.

What Should You Actually Post About?

This is where so many business owners get stuck.

You sit down to create a post and suddenly…

Nothing.

Having some clear content themes can make a huge difference.

Rather than starting from scratch every time, think about the different reasons someone might follow your business.

They might want to learn something, understand your services, see examples of your work, get to know the person behind the business, hear what your customers think or find answers to questions they have before they’re ready to buy.

The best social media content doesn’t constantly shout:

BUY FROM ME!

It builds familiarity and trust over time, so when someone is ready to buy, your business is already in their mind.

Find a Social Media Approach You Can Actually Sustain

Consistency matters – but consistency doesn’t have to mean posting every day.

If your social media strategy requires more time than you realistically have, it’s probably not going to last.

For one business, three posts a week might be achievable.

For another, one genuinely useful LinkedIn post each week and a monthly video might deliver far more value.

The aim is to find a rhythm that works for your audience, your business and you.

Kati’s April COCO workshop focused heavily on creating consistency without burnout and developing a sustainable approach rather than simply chasing trends.

That’s exactly the kind of thinking we love at COCO.

Marketing shouldn’t leave you feeling permanently behind.

Your Social Media Should Still Sound Like YOU

AI has made it easier than ever to produce social media content quickly.

But there’s a downside.

Feeds are becoming full of content that sounds remarkably similar.

Your personality, opinions, experience and stories are part of what differentiate your business.

People want to understand who they’re potentially going to work with – particularly when you’re the face of your business.

So while tools can absolutely help you brainstorm, plan and save time, don’t edit yourself out of your content.

Being professional doesn’t mean being personality-free.

Stop Chasing Likes and Start Looking at What Matters

A post getting lots of likes feels great.

But did it do anything for your business?

Instead of judging every piece of content by likes and follower numbers alone, think about the actions that actually matter.

Are people clicking through to your website? Saving your posts? Starting conversations? Signing up to your emails? Making enquiries? Mentioning your content when you meet them?

Sometimes the post with ten likes generates an enquiry, while the post with 100 likes generates nothing.

Popularity and business results aren’t always the same thing.

Kati Is Back After a Sold-Out COCO Workshop

When Kati joined us in April, the workshop sold out – and we’re delighted to have her back for another practical session this October.

Kati’s approach fits perfectly with what we want our COCO workshops to deliver.

Not hours of theory.

Not a huge list of things you should be doing.

But practical advice, discussion and ideas that you can take away and apply to your own business.

Our April session helped business owners think more strategically about content, visibility, consistency and how social media can support business goals rather than simply becoming another drain on their time.

And this October, we’re doing it again.

A Workshop for Women Who Want Social Media to Feel Simpler

This social media workshop is ideal if you’re a founder or woman in business who knows social media is important but doesn’t always know where to focus.

Maybe you’re posting inconsistently.

Perhaps you’re running out of ideas.

Maybe you’re spending too much time creating content without seeing much in return.

Or perhaps your social media is doing OK, but you know it could be more strategic.

Wherever you’re starting from, the aim is to help you step away from the day-to-day posting treadmill and look at the bigger picture:

Who are you trying to reach? What do they need from you? What should you be talking about? And how can your social media actually support your business goals?

Ready to Make Social Media Work Better for Your Business?

If you’ve been thinking:

“I really need to sort out my social media…”

This is your chance.

Join Kati Noakes and COCO Women Founders this October for a practical workshop designed to help you approach your social media with more clarity, purpose and confidence.

And given that Kati’s April workshop was a sell-out, I’d recommend booking early this time!

You don’t necessarily need to post more. You need to post smarter.
